EMERGENCY NEED:

Currently, we are working to raise funds to build new bunk beds, to be ready for use for summer camp 2018.  After meeting with our insurance company this year, we were advised we needed to have a top rail added to all beds.   Our research has shown the most cost effective way to make this happen is to purchase the materials and build new wooden bunk beds.  We need to replace 82 metal bunk beds, the cost per bunk bed is $175.00, for a total of $14,350.00.

Since the initial bonds were paid, Cold Springs has remained debt free, thanks to the generous giving by Faulkner Baptist churches, their members, and others. We want that to continue. God has blessed Cold Springs to have the facilities to make a difference in people’s lives for the past 40 years. We are blessed to have over 90 acres to serve God with, and we feel the time is right to make some major changes and improvements. Some of the changes/improvements we are looking at are as follows:

• Purchase flat land on the backside of our property giving us a rear entrance and a location for an RV park.
• Purchase a commercial grade zero turn mower – PURCHASED!!!
• Purchase a multi-seat ATV
• Build a multi-purpose conference center for 80-100 people
• Remodel our current lodge and back cabin.

We feel that these improvements will move us to the next level in serving the people God is sending our way. We are trying to raise $500,000.00 to kickstart these projects. We are not putting a timeframe on this, but we know that when God is ready for these things to happen, He will provide the funds. We ask that you be in prayer for these projects.
